After watching several videos from scrapbookers, I heard the name Tuesday Morning several times. I looked it up and found two stores near me! I spent the last two days hunting for goodies. I picked up some Amy Tangerine, Vicki Boutin and Shimmelle paper pads. I also bought some containers from Dollar Tree. I don't have as many supplies as everyone else but my room needed to be organized. Now everything is organized and labeled. I haven't scrapped in the last two days. Super fun time shopping.
I'm also so happy to see that my layout was featured on Challenge YOUrself this week! YIPPEE!!! I also received my prize from last month's Challenge, my very first prize! Sooooo happy and can't wait to use it. I will take a pic of the prize later on. Thanks Challenge YOUrself for the awesome prize.
A week after my purchases, I have completed another layout, this is a double page, a continuation of our California trip. Here we are visiting the Warner Bros Studio Tour, if you have never been, I do recommend that you visit if you are in California. I knew what photos I had wanted on the layout early on after looking at the Challenge Sketch. Again, most of my time was finding paper and matching embellishments. I mean it was ALOT of time. I sure hope this gets easier.
QUESTION to my visitors: Can you give me some tips on selecting paper and coordinating embellishments? How do you shop for your paper or embellishments from stores like Michaels, Joann's, and Hobby Lobby? Do you buy coordinating embellishments at the same time when you pick out a paper pad? I have been buying more and more paper but find that I am still having issues with coordinating different papers. Please comment below. Thanks for stopping by.
I am entering this layout to the following Challenge:
